Spicy Salento peppers

 

Spicy croissant peppers are grown in the open field between late May and early June. The harvest takes place with several passages between August and October, they are then washed, selected, depiculated, cut into rings and left to mature in salt. Once completed, they are simply potted in extra virgin olive oil.
