Distillery Notes – Gordon & MacPhail, Benromach Aged 10 Years

Only ever matured in the highest quality bourbon and sherry oak casks, our ten-year-old single malt whisky gives aromas of sweet toffee and butterscotch with hints of liquorice and green apple. On the palate, the liquorice and green apple continue and are joined by spices, cardamom and white pepper. The finish is warming, with the fruit and spice slowly dissipating to leave a delightful malty smokiness.
