Winemaker Notes

Fourchame is a renowned and expansive Premier Cru vineyard in Chablis. It encompasses four other Premier Cru vineyards, namely L’Homme Mort, Vaupulent, Cote de Fontenay, and Vaulorent, arranged in a north-to-south direction. The soils in Fourchame are remarkably similar to those found in the Grand Cru vineyards, consisting of Kimmeridgian soils rich in limestone and chalk. These geological features impart the wine with a distinctive quality characterized by fresh, rounded lemon flavors and a rich, mineral-driven mouthfeel.
