Winemaker Notes – Craggy Range Martinborough ‘Te Muna’ Sauvignon Blanc 2023

Craggy Range was the first winery in New Zealand to develop single-vineyard, terrior-driven wines. Pale lemon-straw in colour. The nose is abundant with kaffir lime leaf and subtle tropical notes. The palate has intense citrus and guava flavours with a pithiness to the fruit. The hallmark saline acid of Te Muna and the rich minerality is reminiscent of a Sancerre style. The wine pairs well with aperitifs, seafood and poultry.

Potentially the greatest release of this wine to date.
