But what does the LROK mark mean?

LROK (Light Rum Owen Kelly) is the punchiest mark while keeping a good balance in terms of non-alcoholic particles (congeners). We are talking about 300 to 450 gr / hlaap of ester.

Hampden Estate

Built around 1750 the Hampden distillery originally belonged to a Scotsman, Archibald Sterling. Hampden is known for its heavy rums distilled in copper stills. The fermentation is long and natural (no use of commercial yeasts).
