Winemaker Notes

Instantly recognised worldwide, Perrier-Jouët Belle Époque is an icon of the house. The original Belle Époque vintage cuvée first appeared in 1964 adorned with the graceful spray of Japanese white anemones created for Maison Perrier-Jouët by Art Nouveau master Emile Gallé in 1902. Produced only in years deemed perfect by Cellar Master Hervé Deschamps, Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque exemplifies the artistry of blending and the exceptional quality of the Perrier-Jouët vineyard. The cuvées rarity is evident, with fewer than 30 vintages ever produced.

Glinting in a pale, translucent gold, with radiant clarity and subtle glints of apple green. Charming and expressive, the brut bursts from the glass with aromas of crisp yellow orchard fruit, pear, white flowers and subtle hints of buttered toast. Medium to full-bodied, elegant and fine-boned, its pretty core of fruit is girdled by succulent acids, concluding with a delicate chalky finish.
